Mudgeeraba Family Medical Centre provides structured adult ADHD assessment and management, delivered collaboratively by general practitioners and allied health professionals. Assessment & Diagnosis

Initial Evaluation: extended consultations with a GP to review childhood history, current symptoms, and daily functioning, alongside basic health checks.
Screening & Differential Diagnostics: utilization of standardized diagnostic tools and questionnaires to differentiate ADHD from overlapping mental health conditions.
Multidisciplinary Input: coordination between GPs and psychologists to ensure a thorough diagnostic process.

Treatment & Management

Tailored Care Plans: individualized management strategies focused on executive function, stress management, and workplace or study accommodations.
Psychological Therapies: evidence-based strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to build organizational skills and emotional regulation techniques.
Medical Management: evaluation for non-stimulant or stimulant medications where clinically appropriate and indicated under relevant guidelines.
Ongoing Continuity: regular follow-ups to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide long-term care.
